At some point, it became clear that we could not simply react to growth, we needed to actively create the conditions for the years ahead. <\/p>\n
That is why we are not simply investing in additional space, but in a site that is designed with the long term in mind. The Green Campus will bring development, production, packaging, quality assurance, and brand experience even closer together. For me, this project is a clear commitment to the future of Velvety and a strong signal that we are ready to take long-term responsibility and invest in Austria as a business location. <\/p>\n

Innovation means, above all, identifying developments at an early stage and turning them into tangible, market-ready products. In the cosmetics industry, requirements are constantly evolving, whether in terms of textures, user experiences, ingredients, packaging, sustainability, or regulatory standards. Anyone who wants to remain relevant in the long term must not only observe these changes but actively work with them. <\/p>\n
At the new Green Campus, we are creating the ideal environment for this. Together with our customers, we want to develop new ideas, identify emerging trends at an early stage, and turn them into solutions that are both technically feasible and economically viable. Behind innovation are not only modern technologies, but above all the people who work on new ideas every day. Michaela Schatzer plays a key role in product development and contributes valuable input through her experience, market knowledge, and strong understanding of consumer trends. From the initial concept to the implementation of new products, she works closely with our development, laboratory, and production teams to create innovative and market-ready solutions for our customers. <\/p>\n

For us, packaging is an essential part of the value creation process. It is not just about packaging a finished product, but about ensuring quality, efficiency, flexibility, and responsibility throughout the entire process. <\/p>\n
In the long term, we want to bring certain packaging processes further in-house. This gives us greater control over workflows, quality, and responsiveness. Especially for more complex projects or short-notice requirements, it is a major advantage when development, production, and packaging work closely together rather than being completely separated from one another. <\/p>\n
A particularly important aspect for us is social responsibility. Even today, we work together with Lebenshilfe in the area of packaging. This partnership is very valuable to us because it demonstrates that economic development and social contribution do not have to be mutually exclusive. <\/p>\n
With the Green Campus, we want to further strengthen this connection in the long term: bringing together modern production, professional processes, and social responsibility at one location. For me, this is an important part of our company culture. Growth should not only mean producing more, but also making conscious decisions about how and with whom we create value. <\/p>\n
For our partners, this means greater reliability, increased flexibility, and a site concept that is designed to be sustainable not only from an economic perspective, but also from a social and long-term societal perspective.<\/p>\n

I believe that many people are not aware of how much expertise, technology, and passion go into modern cosmetic products. They see the finished product on the shelf, but very few know the development and production process behind it. <\/p>\n
That is why we want to make the Green Campus a place where cosmetic manufacturing becomes a tangible experience. With our own shop and a live production area, we want to give visitors, partners, and customers the opportunity to look behind the scenes and see firsthand how modern cosmetics are created. <\/p>\n
This creates transparency and highlights the work that goes into every product, from the initial idea and development phase to manufacturing and packaging. At the same time, it strengthens the connection to our brand, our products, and our location. <\/p>\n
In the long term, the Green Campus is intended to be much more than a production site. It is designed to become a place where people find inspiration, experience innovation, and discover cosmetics from a completely new perspective. <\/p>\n

That is a valid and important question. Of course, we also see that many companies are relocating parts of their production abroad for cost reasons. We have consciously chosen a different path. <\/p>\n
I am convinced that competitiveness today is not defined by the lowest price alone. Quality, flexibility, innovative strength, reliability, and short decision-making paths are becoming increasingly important. This is exactly where we see our strength. <\/p>\n
A production site in Austria comes with its challenges, especially when it comes to costs, bureaucracy, and the availability of skilled workers. However, it also offers significant opportunities: highly qualified employees, high quality standards, short decision-making paths, regional value creation, and close collaboration with our partners. <\/p>\n
Especially in an industry where speed of development, quality assurance, and flexible implementation are critical, a strong production site in Austria can be a real competitive advantage.<\/p>\n
With the Green Campus, we are therefore making a clear commitment to Austria, and especially Upper Austria, as a business location. We believe that high-quality manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable growth can thrive here as well, provided that companies are willing to build professional processes and think with a long-term perspective. <\/p>\n

If, in a few years, we can say that we have created further international cosmetic innovations from Austria, built new partnerships, and achieved something truly remarkable together with our customers and our team, then this investment will have been more than worthwhile. <\/p>\n
In the end, for my wife and me, it is about building something that lasts, for our company, for our team, for our partners, and for the region.<\/p>\n
