Sun protection is important – we all know that. Nevertheless, the reality of everyday life often looks quite different. Sunscreen is forgotten, not reapplied while on the go, or considered unpleasant because it feels sticky, greasy, or has to be applied with your hands.
But can the Jelly Sun Stick really make daily application easier?
That’s exactly what we wanted to find out. For our practical test, four different people tried the Jelly Sun Stick in everyday life, on holiday, and during outdoor activities, and shared their personal Jelly Sun Stick experiences with us.

Whether for daily sun protection, on holiday, or during outdoor activities – each tester used the Jelly Sun Stick in their own way.

Patrick: “My first holiday without sunburn.”
Patrick is one of those people who has never particularly enjoyed applying sunscreen. What bothered him most was the sticky feeling on his hands after applying it.
His experience with the Jelly Sun Stick:
“This holiday was the first one where I didn’t get sunburned. I probably shouldn’t even admit it, but I hate applying sunscreen – especially because of the sticky and greasy feeling on my hands afterwards. But this year, that was no longer an issue!

For Carina, sun protection has always been an important topic. At the same time, her experience shows that there is often a difference between knowing how important sun protection is and applying it consistently in everyday life. “What has the Sun Stick shown me?
Suncare has never been easier.
Of course, I’m aware of how important sun protection is and that you should wear it not only when sunbathing, but also in everyday life, in the shade, or while on the go. But as is so often the case, knowing and actually doing are two different things. 🙃
And I have to say, that’s exactly where the Sun Stick has actually made a difference for me. Sun protection has now become part of my daily routine.
Before I leave the house or even just sit out on the terrace for a little while, I apply sun protection. Not because I’ve suddenly become more disciplined – if only – but simply because it’s so easy. Open the stick, apply, done. No touching my face, no rubbing it in with my hands.
And I notice the difference especially when I’m on the go. When hiking, for example: you’ve been sweating, you take a break, and there’s no water around to wash your hands. You simply take the stick and reapply. No sticky or dirty hands, no fuss. It’s just so incredibly practical.
And: It’s perfect for the face. With sunscreen, I often have the problem that it runs into my eyes when I sweat and stings. I don’t have that problem with this one.

Ferenc: “Especially when I’m on the go, I’ve realized just how practical the stick really is.”
“I’ll be honest: when I’m on holiday, I don’t want to constantly think about when I last applied sunscreen or whether I need to take it out of my bag and rub it in again.
That’s exactly why the Jelly Sun Stick stood out to me, especially when I was on the go.

Until now, Andreas has taken a very traditional approach: sun lotion or sunscreen, as long as it has a high SPF, is water-resistant, and provides reliable protection. The Jelly Sun Stick showed him that sun protection can work differently.

To be honest, sunscreen in stick form wasn’t really on my radar until now. Normally, without giving it much thought, I would reach for sun lotion or sunscreen. What mattered to me was SPF 30 to 50, water resistance, and immediate protection. Side effects like a whitish cast or a consistency that becomes firmer or more liquid depending on the temperature? Until now, that wasn’t a big issue for me – I just thought it was part of the deal.
So far, so good. But as they say: the better is the enemy of the good.

Stick instead of tube is clearly the best solution for me at the moment. Super easy to take with you, especially for activities like biking or hiking in the mountains, or even just for a day at the lake. No risk of the packaging getting squeezed or accidentally opening, plus a consistently solid texture.
And especially important for men: the easy application. No worrying about whether you’ve used too much or too little, no unnecessary rubbing to get rid of a white cast. Instead, targeted application, a consistent texture, and a super-light feel on the skin – done. That’s all you need.
But 😉 don’t forget to reapply. And with the stick format, it’s quick and easy.

What Do the Jelly Sun Stick Experiences Show?
Four people, different situations, and different habits – and yet their experiences so far reveal some clear similarities.
Above all, the easy application was repeatedly mentioned as a key advantage. The Jelly Sun Stick is quick to apply, convenient on the go, and makes reapplication much easier in everyday life, on holiday, or during outdoor activities.
This also shows just how important the right product format is alongside a good formulation. After all, sun protection can only become part of a daily routine if it can be easily integrated into everyday life.
